The world is a poorer place without Martin. Am always going to miss that cheeky smile, we'll never have another neighbour like him. A real gentleman and a lovely guy who is sadly missed. Hello Sir, I never got to meet you in person but I have had the opportunity of meeting your son Elliot and his wife Tas. One thing I can say is, you have done a fantastic job in bringing a great son to this world. I am sure your memories will live on through them. I know that we will see at some point but till then Rest in Peace Sir Ikenna D.

I didn't know him .but when l spoke too him on phone .he sounded a nice guy .always wished him happy birthday sent him happy birthday Chelsea cake as a picture. He loved it so wished l had met him .he hadn't seen simon in 30 years but was gonna meet up this year.so sad news .rip Mr nice guy all my love Denise & Simon xxx

Martin was a wonderful man , always a smile , and cheeky face, always willing to help you and heaven has most certainly gained a true gentleman. Terribly sad that his life was cut much shorter than it should have been because the world was a better place with him in it. Sleep well martin. You’ll be missed. Xx

It was a real pleasure to work with you at Eurostar all those years ago , when I moved away from ashford on my return and nights out with friends we would catch up ... your smile used to light up a room and you were so proud of your boys . They are a credit to you and have done you proud .. watch over them and safe journey to the next part of your adventure .. much love ❤️
